  21. Does anyone have (or know of) a program that plays .ROL and/or .CMF
  22. files under windows? I think this may be difficult, as it requires
  23. a SB emulation to occur under windows.

  38. having gone through past messages, I have seen many designs for a midi 
  39. connector, and many suggestions of alterations to make the design work.
  40. Could someone please mail me a design known to work.
  41.     If it has indicator lights and joystick ports, that would be even 
  42. better.

  56. A friend of mine and I were talking about the problem with mod players under
  57. windows.  One possible solution would be to convert the MOD file to a MIDI
  58. file.  Since the GUS MIDI driver for windows is quite stable and works well
  59. in the background like you would want - we need to have a program which will
  60. convert the file and load the MOD samples as MIDI patches.  Either convert
  61. the files ahead of time or convert on the fly.
  62.  
  63. There are programs which convert MOD to MIDI but none make the switch
  64. effortless.  But whatever the case - utilizing the MIDI driver for windows
  65. would be a much better way to handle MOD files.
